Fraud & Breach of Contract, jury verdict $300,000 Autauga Co. March 9, 2007. CV-205-320-B. Case involved fraud and breach of contract in the restoration of several vehicles by a local restoration shop. The suit charge that the restoration shop misrepresented the cost and quality of the work. Furthermore there was evidence that the plaintiffs were charge for work that was not performed. Jury awarded a total of $100,000 in compensatory damages and $200,000 in punitive damages. A confidential settlement was recently reached.
